MACHA Season Finals & Playoffs

Last year it was Mother Nature who kept us all in suspense for the final team selection for the Playoffs; this year it was the points that would determine the final positions! In a rematch of last years Championship game the Rider Broncs and UMBC Retrievers faced off at Loucks Arena to see if there will a be a four way tie a top the MACHA standings. The game came down to a 90 seconds frame in the second period which changed the game and made UMBC come out on top.  Last weekends play finalized the overall standings as well as the playoff picture.
 
The 2011 MACHA North Playoffs will be played at the Loucks Arena (Lawrenceville Prep Campus) and are as follows: 
 
 Game #1 Friday 2/18 @ 1:30 pm : St. Joe's vs Temple
 Game #2 Friday 2/18 @ 8:15 pm : Rowan vs Rider
 
 Game #3 Saturday 2/19 @ 5:00 pm :  UMBC vs lowest ranked winner
 Game #4 Saturday 2/19 @ 8:00 pm :  Penn St vs highest ranked winner
 
Game #5 Sunday 2/20 @ 3:30 pm : MACHA North Championship - winners of Game # 3 vs winners of Game # 4
 
MACHA is proud again this year to announce that IYM Sports Radio will be doing audio broadcast for all of the MACHA North Playoff Games. To listen to the broadcasts, just log in to IYMSPORTSRADIO.com
 
 
The 2011 MACHA South Playoffs will be played at the Lahaye Ice Center (Liberty Campus) and are as follows: 
 
Game #1 Saturday 2/19 @ 3:00 pm :  KSU vs Virginia Tech
Game #2 Saturday 2/19 @ 6:45 pm :  ECU vs Liberty
 
Game #3 Sunday 2/20 @ 2:00 pm : MACHA South Championship - winners of Game # 1 vs winners of Game # 2

MACHA South will do a video broadcast of all of the MACHA South Playoff Games. To watch the broadcasts, just click on the link HERE.


Admission for all games will be:  $5 Adults /  $3 Students / Children, Seniors and Military Free.
 
Also to all our fans and friends the ACHA South East Regional Tournament will be played in our area this year and many of your MACHA teams will be there.  Mark your calendars for February 26 & 27 and plan on coming to watch at the North East Flyer Skate Zone in Philadelphia.  Game times start at 9:50 am and run till 5:20 pm.  Winners will play on Sunday to advance to the Nationals.
